Community Involvement
Our company recognizes the important role of local business in our community and works to involve our employees in a number of volunteer community involvement programs. We believe that by organizing charitable projects, or campaigns that strengthen our community, we improve the lives of our neighbors and our employees. We regularly hold an annual Christmas toy drive and an “adopt a family” program during the holidays intended to share the warmth of the season and benefit from the joy of giving.
Throughout the year we are involved in Habitat for Humanity and have volunteered hundreds of man hours to the active restoration of houses, helping to turn them into homes. This year we also worked with pajamaprogram.com and had a very successful children’s pajama drive that allowed us to collect and contribute over 160 pairs of new PJ’s to children who needed them.
We will continue to support this community that has supported us for over 50 years and try our best to help make this a better place to live for all of us. This page will be updated throughout the year to keep the community involved in our initiatives. Stay tuned!
Calendar of Events
Saturday May 14, 2016 come join our Pepsi crew and the Habitat for Humanity Organization from 7:30-3:30pm to assist with preliminary stages of building a house for a family in need. For further information or to RSVP to this event please email: Administrator@pepsihdg.com
Monday September 5,2016 help us kick off our 2nd annual PJ program. Donate new pajamas or a book for children in need. Join us Saturday September 24 at 7pm with your family for our pajama party/movie night in the sales lobby.
Monday October 3,2016 we commence our 2nd annual food drive. Please donate non perishable goods for our families in need.
Monday October 3, 2016 we kick off our annual Toy Drive. Donate gently used or new toys in our boxes located in the front office or sales lobby for under privileged children.
November 19,2016 Please join us at Bel-air United Methodist Church to clean, repackage and refurbish gently used and new toys from 9-12pm.
